Mathias Ripheden

Mathias Ripheden, who runs Pukeberg Glassworks, thinks that the best thing in the world is experimenting with colour and form and pushing the boundaries. He likes to work spontaneously and has lots of ideas about what he’d like to do in glass.

“Glass fascinates me, and because I cast it myself I get to be involved in the entire process from liquid glass to finished product. I cast the products in natural sand, which gives a raw and rough style that I find very appealing.”
