Bergdala Blowing Room

Here you are welcomed by a beautiful environment with traditional red painted wooden buildings. Bergdala Glassworks was constructed in 1889, and is unique in retaining its wooden interior. Skilled glass grinder Roger Andersson took up the reins of the business in 2015 after it had shut down for a short period. And now as then, the popular classic Blå Kant (Blue Edge) still forms part of the range, with the sour milk bowl as probably the best well known object.

Bergdala Blowing Room also has an exciting collaboration with lighting company Bsweden. All of their glass parts are manufactured here, including for the famous Manhattan pendant light.

Today art glass and one-of-a-kind pieces are also designed and manufactured at Bergdala Blowing Room. Everyone is welcome to visit the blowing room, and there’s also a large shop.
