The extremely rare Pichi, which is only found in a specific area in Ecuador, has provided the inspiration for this artwork. Depending on how you spin the piece, you may see a bird appear. Carlos has developed this technique himself through a series of experiments.
Carlos R Pebaqué brought his fascination for glass across the Atlantic to the tiny village of Gullaskruv, where he has developed his love of the graal technique, together with his own Cara technique that he uses to create images inside the glass.
