I know that in Sweden we have dealt with the period during the COVID pandemic in a different way than most other countries, but there are advantages and disadvantages in our limitations. I want this sculpture to be ironic and to remind us of dreams and longings such as hugging your relatives, shaking hands or kissing a stranger. 

I created this girl during a period when I was extremely frustrated and simply needed to get that frustration out. Sometimes being creative helps with your mood or feelings. This is a hot sculpted work, assembled in a glass studio in Ebeltoft. The finishing included sandblasted details, painting and the wooden bat.
